At the Board Printing Company, we guarantee fast printing, affordable prices, and a high-quality finish for each and every project. To make sure that our UK printing business only delivers the best, we make the preparation and checking of artwork a top priority.

Excellently prepared artwork leads to excellent printing. For the best results, we prefer all artwork to be free of blemishes, void of pantone and RGB colours.

AI generated artwork is not suitable for printing, as the sizing, format, colour profile and quality is usually incorrect 99% of the time. We would recommend asking a professional graphic designer to recreate your Ai artwork close as possible to the original AI artwork where possible. Artwork should be sent under the following specifications:

Format: PDF

Resolution: Minimum 300dpi for all images

Bleed: Minimum 3mm

Crop Marks: Yes

Colour: CMYK

Embed: Please outline all fonts and include all embedded images.

Vector graphics and text will produce the best print quality, so use where possible.

Artwork Checking Service

For an additional fee, we will run checks on your artwork for you. We will assess the size, resolution, bleed, alignment, and legibility of your art, to ensure the highest quality print is achieved for your order. We will revert back to you on the results of the artwork checking service and advise on corrections if required. If no corrections are required, we will advise this and get your order into production. This service is non-refundable.

Artwork Proofing Service

For an additional fee, we will prepare and send you a copy of the print ready file that we use for production of your order. This service is non-refundable.
