Aluminium Composite Board, also known as Dibond, is a high-strength display material made of two thin aluminium sheets sandwiched around a polyethene (plastic) core. It is rust-proof, waterproof and chemically resistant and also the industry standard for long-term outdoor signage, hoarding and professional displays.
For signage and display purposes, ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) is the better choice. Its smooth, flat surface allows for sharp, direct-to-board printing, while its weather resistance prevents warping or fading outdoors. WPC offers a wood-like appearance but is generally intended for decking or cladding rather than signage. Compared to WPC, ACP looks more professional, is lighter, and is easier to install on walls or posts.
